Birth<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Ittigel was born in 1998 from an idea of Luca and Marco Schiaretti. The two brothers are the second generation of a family that has been in the seafood business since the early 1970s.<\/p>

Initially, the fledgling company combines wholesaling fresh and frozen fish with representing foreign companies.<\/p>

In 2001 there is a decisive change of pace: Ittigel specializes in the frozen sector, becoming exclusively a representative agency.<\/p><\/div>

Growth<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Visits to customers and potential suppliers intensify, leading to an increase in business volume. The original core of customers is no longer limited to the Northeast but, little by little, comes to cover the entire country. Ittigel participates in major industry fairs, such as Seafood Expo and Conxemar, thus creating a valuable network of international relationships.<\/p>

Some of these meetings have resulted in collaborations that have been going on for more than 15 years. One of the agency's core values lies in its willingness to build long-term relationships with suppliers based on trust and shared goals.<\/p>

Last but not least, the office in Via Roma in Colorno is opened.<\/p><\/div>

The first 20 years<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Twenty years have passed since 1998, Ittigel has become a well-established reality in the frozen seafood sector and boasts a large group of both European and non-European representatives; its customers are spread throughout the country.<\/p>

On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the agency leaves its historic headquarters in Via Roma and moves to new premises in Piazzale Caduti del Lavoro in Colorno.<\/p><\/div>

Toward new markets<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Ittigel team grows along with the agency: it is enriched with new people and new professional skills that support the opening to new markets such as India, China and Indonesia to be more competitive and offer a wider range of products to distributors, wholesalers and food service.<\/p><\/div>

After celebrating 25 years in business in November 2023, the agency decided to expand its reach by offering its expertise to foreign companies in sectors other than seafood. Hence Premium Food Brokers was born.<\/p><\/div>

From May 2024 Ittigel moves to Parma. Thus begins a new chapter in which the agency confirms its desire to consolidate, grow and further diversify its offerings.<\/p>

These changes are the result of an ongoing effort to improve the services offered to its clients and suppliers.<\/p><\/div>
